Whale Beach
Surf beach · Whale Beach
A quiet beach between Avalon and Palm Beach, reached by steep, winding streets, which keeps it peaceful. The Wedge, at the northern end, is the surf break; the rock pool is at the southern end.
The surf club and a small car park sit behind the middle of the beach, and there is a cafe across the road. The water can be rough, so swim between the flags.
