The renovated Barrenjoey Boatshed at Palm Beach, on the Pittwater side of Governor Phillip Park: casual waterfront dining with a relaxed food and drinks menu. The lobster roll and the fish and chips are the things to order, and you can simply turn up.
Sit outside for the view over the water. Some plates are small for the price. There is a new private function space on the rooftop.
