The Boathouse Group's cafe at Shelly Beach, on the walkway from Manly: breakfast, coffee and long lunches right by the water. Go early on weekends.
There is plenty of seating, with views straight to the beach, and the menu is good value. It gets busy in warm weather. Dogs are welcome, there is a kids' menu, and bookings are taken.
