The Basin track and Mackerel track

Bushwalk to The Basin · West Head

Two tracks from the same spot on West Head Road. The Basin track follows the ridge past the Basin Aboriginal art site, then drops to The Basin campground on Pittwater, with a grassy clearing, a swimming lagoon and toilets. Mackerel track heads out to a point with views down onto Mackerel Beach and Currawong.
