Spit to Manly Walk

The Manly Scenic Walkway: a harbourside day walk of about 10 km between the Spit Bridge and Manly, through bush, beaches and lookouts, and one of the best sections of the 80 km Bondi to Manly Walk. Clontarf Reserve, Forty Baskets and Reef Beach are good stops for a swim or a picnic.
Along the way are Arabanoo lookout at Dobroyd Head, named for the first Aboriginal man to live among the European settlers, and the Aboriginal rock engravings at Grotto Point. Buses run from Wynyard to the Spit, and the 144 bus goes from Manly back to the Spit Bridge, so you only need to walk one way.
