An 18 hole, tree lined public golf course beside the ocean at Mona Vale, on land that was a polo pony stud and resort around 1900. Golfers rate it as great value. The renovated clubhouse has a bar and eatery with views from the sea to the bush.
The course was built by turning a swamp and sand dunes into rolling fairways, with a clubhouse that began as a tent. The present 18 holes opened in August 1960.
