Italian waterfront restaurant at Whale Beach from Merci Group, in a much loved local spot. The menu centres on seafood, handmade pasta and steak from the Josper grill, and the crab pasta is the standout. There is a weekend coffee cart, and happy hour at the alfresco bar runs Friday to Sunday from 3.30pm.
Executive chef Emilio Erazo runs the kitchen, and lunch here is meant to be long. The alfresco bar does not take bookings, so seats go to whoever arrives first. Large groups can choose a set menu.
