Small Japanese country style bistro in Collaroy, serving traditional home style Japanese cooking for dinner Tuesday to Saturday. Kintaro began in Neutral Bay in 1997, owner and chef Masa has run it since 2005, and it moved to Collaroy in 2021. Takeaway can be ordered online.
Masa has two daughters and says he never cooks anything he would not be proud to serve his own family. Ordering is by iPad and dishes can arrive slowly on busy nights, but families make the trip for the food.
