Bilgola Beach & rock pool
Surf beach · Bilgola Beach
A small surf beach below the Bilgola bends, between Newport and Avalon, backed by cabbage tree palms. Tucked under the headlands, it feels more hidden than its neighbours. There is a rock pool at the southern end.
The pool is a full 50 metres, and there is a kiosk and a small car park behind the beach. The surf can be strong, so swim between the flags.
