Coastal Mexican restaurant and bar on Old Barrenjoey Road in Avalon: tacos, shared plates, agave spirits and margaritas. The birria tacos and the guacamole get the most praise. Open for dinner midweek and from lunch on weekends.
The room is good looking and the kitchen is partly open, so you can watch the cooks at work. The margaritas also come without alcohol, and the coconut margarita is worth trying.
